My partner and I wanted to spend a romantic weekend by the sea. For our 10th wedding anniversary, we wanted to mark the occasion. We thought of the Vendée. Based in Les Sables d'Olonne, it's exactly the type of establishment we were looking for.
A charming, friendly hotel
Once we arrived on site, we were able to take advantage of a reserved parking space for our vehicle. The hotel staff made us feel very welcome. This hotel has everything you could wish for: in short, a team that takes great care of its guests, and excellent service.A modern, cocooning establishment... Absolutely everything was perfect. Once we arrived in our rooms, the establishment showed us that it had all the features of a grand hotel. In addition to the double bed and the beautiful shower room, we had a television and a courtesy tray with a kettle, coffee and tea.
It was a wonderful holiday: from the first day we arrived, we walked along the embankment until we reached the side of Lac de Tanchet. With the sun setting, our walk had a very romantic feel. Les Sables d'Olonne has some superb scenery. The pedestrian streets are lively during the day, with all the little shops. There was something for everyone, from seafood and pizzas to more traditional cuisine, we were spoilt for choice.
