Last weekend was just magical! My partner gave me the biggest surprise of my life. When I came back from work, a bag was ready on our doorstep and he said to me "Darling, I'm going to take you away this weekend to a charming hotel in Les Sables d'Olonne ! ". I couldn't believe it! For the 5 years we'd been together, I was living a daydream.

Once we had settled in, we headed straight for the seaside. As the car was parked in a private car park, we felt very free to move around, without having to worry about finding a parking space.

We spent two marvellous days walking with our feet in the sand, hand in hand enjoying the sunset as soon as we arrived, but also discovering Les Sables d'Olonne. We really fell in love with this seaside resort: its embankment, its bars and restaurants overlooking the sea, its marinas and fishing ports, its magnificent Ile Penotte district, the events organised by the town, etc.
