These same routes are signposted throughout your journey. Whether you're trekking 20 kilometres or 150, you choose beforehand using the road network, GPS, map and other resources available.
Within the Vendée region or crossing the Vélodyssée(As a reminder, this is a route stretching from Great Britain to Spain), most of which, of course, are only open to cyclists and pedestrians. This ensures maximum safety, especially if you are travelling with your family, as we have often found.
La Vélodyssée is not just a route, it also refers to tourist establishments where you can stay along the way. These are officially "accueil vélo" approved. "Accueil vélo" means that they are able to receive and store your bikes safely. A special welcome, for example, a minimum of repair, inflation, etc., as well as the possibility of referring you to a professional repairer if necessary, or transferring your personal belongings by taxi or other means.
