The Olonne MarshlandA few kilometres from Les Sables d’Olonne you can still find a marsh pool with fish and a salt marsh, both of which continue to provide a living. Boat tours are on offer with a stop-off at the salt marsh. The Olonne marshland is about 10km from the hotel so a car is a must, unless you would rather hire bicycles.
